Sachtleben has achieved certification to the standards of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualitätssicherung for the development, production and marketing of white pigments and extenders and sulfuric acid plant products (ISO 9001:2000 und ISO 14001; Reg.-Nr. 3209). They are certified for their food industry management system (ISO 22000:2005, Reg.-Nr. 003209 FSMS).

All products, plant and packing are Kosher-'Mehadrin' certified by Regional Rabbi for the Northern Rhine (a.D.). Halal cerfication took place by Halal Control e.K. in 2005.

For pharmaceutical excipients the application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is fundamental important. The IPEC-GMP Certificate of Conformity certified the continuously application of the international GMP-guidelines for the Sachtleben product Hombitan FF-Pharma.
