Mahr Metering Systems, Goettingen, Germany are proud to showcase their three component mixing and metering machines for the composite industry. As global demand continues to grow for lightweight, high strength, incombustible composites, Mahr have used their 60 years of expertise in precision metering to develop a range of high accuracy resin metering systems.

Edgar Hochwart, head of Sales and Marketing for Mahr Metering Services announced that the company after listening to their customers have come up with a market leading dosing machine for the carbon fibre industry.

‘The system meters and mixes three components, the resin as the main component, a hardener and a reaction accelerator.' Eddy also acknowledges ‘the challenge was to develop a three component dosing machine that could work better than 2% accuracy and at extreme temperature conditions. However, the main challenge is always to consider the safety of the operator and reduce as many risks as possible and still maintain a user friendly piece of equipment'.

‘At the heart of each dosing machine are Mahr Metering's world class ‘Feinpruef' metering pumps. When designing the machine we spend time listening to the customer and in essence create a tailor made product'.
